About this Image Tool

One free tool for everything you need to do with an image: compress it (even to an exact target size in KB), resize by pixels or percentage, convert between JPG, PNG, WEBP and AVIF, crop or rotate it, and add a text or logo watermark. Everything happens right inside your browser — your image is never uploaded to any server.

The toolbox also includes a colour palette extractor (top 10 dominant colours with HEX codes), an EXIF metadata viewer & remover (see camera, date and GPS info — and strip it before sharing), a border & frame designer, an image splitter for Instagram carousels and grids (ZIP download), screenshot mockup frames (macOS window, browser, phone) and an SVG to PNG converter.

How to use it

  1. Upload an image (or drag & drop it).
  2. Rotate, flip or crop it if you want.
  3. Pick an output format, drag the quality slider, or set a new width/height.
  4. Tap Download — you'll see exactly how much smaller it got.

Is it private?

Yes — your image is processed locally on your device. It is never sent or stored anywhere.

FAQ

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool here runs entirely in your browser using your device's own processing — your images are never uploaded, sent or stored anywhere. They stay on your device the whole time.

Can I compress an image to an exact file size?

Yes. Type a target size in KB and tap Auto-set quality. The tool tries different quality levels and picks the highest one that still fits under your target. This works for JPG, WEBP and AVIF, but not PNG because PNG is lossless.

Which image formats can I convert between?

You can convert between JPG, PNG and WEBP, plus AVIF when your browser supports it. Pick the output format from the dropdown before downloading — JPG is usually smallest, PNG is lossless, and WEBP and AVIF are modern formats that balance size and quality.

How do I remove EXIF data like camera info and GPS location?

Open the Metadata tab to see EXIF details such as camera, date and GPS coordinates, then tap Remove metadata & download. The photo is re-saved without any EXIF data, so it is safe to share online without revealing where or when it was taken.
