How to use it
- Pick one of the 8 templates — Classic, Minimal, Modern, Professional, Left Accent, Compact, Elegant or Bold.
- Set an accent colour (the presets or a custom colour) and choose a font style: Clean, Rounded, Serif or Elegant.
- Add your business name, contact details and, if you like, upload a logo.
- Enter the client, the invoice number, the date and the due date, then pick your currency.
- List your line items with a description, quantity and rate — amounts and the subtotal fill in automatically.
- Add a tax percentage or a discount if needed, write any notes or terms, then click Download PDF or Print.
What belongs on a proper invoice
A clear invoice removes any excuse for a late payment. At a minimum it should carry your business name and contact details, the client's name, a unique invoice number, the issue date and a due date, and an itemised list of what is being charged. This tool gives every one of those a dedicated field. The unique invoice number matters more than people expect: it lets both sides reference a specific bill in emails and bank records, and it keeps your own bookkeeping tidy at tax time. A stated due date — the tool defaults to seven days ahead — sets the expectation in writing, which is far more effective than hoping the client remembers.
How the totals, tax and discount are worked out
Each line item is simply quantity multiplied by rate, and those line amounts add up to the subtotal. A discount, if you enter one, is taken off the subtotal first. Tax is then applied to the discounted amount, not the original subtotal, so the percentage you enter reflects what the client actually owes. The grand total is the discounted subtotal plus tax. Because the discount field is a flat amount and the tax field is a percentage, you can model most common situations — an early-payment discount, a flat goodwill reduction, or sales tax, VAT or GST — without any manual arithmetic. The figures update the moment you change a number, so there is no risk of a stale total slipping onto the final document.
Templates, branding and currency
The eight templates range from understated (Minimal and Elegant) to confident (Bold and Modern, which use a coloured header band). Pairing a template with your own accent colour and an uploaded logo is usually enough to make an invoice feel like part of your brand. Currency is fully flexible: choose from the Pakistani Rupee, US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Indian Rupee, Saudi Riyal, UAE Dirham or Bangladeshi Taka, or pick "No symbol" if you prefer to write the currency in your notes. A small Xnipertools mark appears in the footer by default; a toggle lets you switch it off before you export if you would rather the invoice carry only your own branding.
Your data stays in your browser
Everything happens on your own device. The invoice, your logo and the PDF are all built locally in the browser, so none of your business or client details — or the amounts you charge — are sent to or stored on a server. That is one less privacy worry when you are handling sensitive financial information, and it is why the tool works just as well offline once the page has loaded. A common tip: save the finished PDF with the invoice number as its filename (the tool does this automatically) so your records stay easy to search later.
